Mike T BoothTwig. Twig are a company with two departments, Twig Garden Design, whom do garden design and Studio Twig, a textile design studio. The company required a logo that could work for either department, and be used in isolation or together.

We approached this project with a view to producing a logo with alternates in colour for each department and a flexible approach to the way the logo was displayed at different sizes. We have also looked at the way the logo works on a preferred grey brown background as well as traditional white.

We worked on the typeface initially, integrating the department with twig, the D in design replacing the dot on the I, we then looked at a symbol that could be used along with the typeface or on its own. Twig wanted a strong reference to plants but with a crisp but abundant feel.
