littleangel's 5th birthday :)

site and Skin Direct. We have helped Perfect Skin Direct to set up a second version of their online store dedicated exclusively to dermalogica one of their top sellers. dermalogica had strict specifications about the site look, content and functionality which have been met with this build, within this remit we've kept the look and layout as similar as possible to the original site to ensure that customers realise that the two sites are different versions of the same outlet.

We have also been in touch with Perfect Skin Direct clients through their newsletter to promote the new version of the site and to assure clients that they will receive the same fantastic service from both outlets.

rebrand, logo and stationery

the eco decoratorsThe Eco Decorators. The Eco Decorators provide an environmentally friendly decorating service. The company has been going for some years under the name of All Black Painting but has spent time investigating and experimenting with environmentally friendly techniques over the last couple of years and has decided to rebrand.

We have developed a new logo incorporating the word "eco" within the word decorators, we focused on the green theme and we have created branding elements to carry this across a small range of stationary and eventually a new site build.

Thanks go to our showcased clients, it's been fun reviewing projects to showcase; the portfolios will expand with both past and upcoming projects so watch this space for updates. We worked on the copy for this site with copy writer Sharon Whyte, our thanks also go to her for a splendid job. Have a look at the site and enjoy.

In addition to this we also developed a new postcard/compliments slip and a new business cards to complement our new online branding, we're really thrilled with the way they turned out, we love the vibrancy and we've had very good feedback.

Castle Milk Lighting Project. We put together a brochure site for the Castle Milk Lighting Project, this exciting project utilises up-to-the-minute technology to display a night-time visual representation of the local weather outlook for the following day using internet RSS feeds based on meteorological data.

This year we had a 15 year old student on premises for a week working on a design project, taking a brief from initial research through to completed design concepts.

We created a computer game brief and asked our student to come up with a genre, time line, back story, character design and development and landscape design. The project culminated with some graphic design which required the design of a poster to advertise the game and of the game dvd case.

This involved research into the history of the genre, developing characters and landscape freehand and then work on the pc in illustration and image editing packages. The results are here, we were very pleased with the outcome.

Caledonian Memory Clinic. Caledonian Memory Clinic required a logo and brochure site. The design requirements were a clear and easy to understand navigation and a friendly, crisp feel.

July 2009

branding and stationery

OJM Travel. We undertook a rebranding exercise for OJM Travel, this included redeveloping logos for OJM Travel and for their specialist tours department Himalayan footsteps. The two projects had quite different aims but had to work well together. The OJM logo had to reflect a modern travel company, Himalayan footsteps had to hint at the cultural aspect of tours to this region as well s incorporating the different tours types that OJM Travel specialise in; Adventure, Sightseeing and Volunteer. We have developed the two logos and further branding which links the two while keeping their identities distinct.

We also created business card designs designed to stand out and catch the eye, we wanted to create card that was a keeper, not to be discarded.

We have supplied the logos to OJM Travel for inclusion on stationery printed in house and implemented the new logo designs to the existing Himalayan Footsteps leaflet.

June 2009

site build

Ballathie Good Food. Ballathie Good Food wanted an ecommerce website so that they can market and sell their fresh produce online. We worked on this project in conjunction with Klaklak whom handled the design and photography, littleangel design coordinated the build and ecommerce functionality.

Himalayan Footsteps. Himalayan Footsteps is a part of OJM Travel, specialising in travel to countries that border the Himalayas. OJM Travel required a leaflet to showcase the three different types of tours, Adventure, Sightseeing and Volunteer offered in the Himalayan region.

We put together a double sided A5 leaflet for them. This was an introductory project, we are to be developing a new set of brochures with them and this leaflet was in part to establish a good basis for design and brand to develop through the larger project.

May 2009

stationery, promotional material, signage and swing tags

Ocean Jewellery. Ocean Jewellery moved premises in June to a larger unit on Lothian Road and as such needed new stationery and promotional material. We gave the brand a tweak at the same time to refresh it and applied it and the new shop details to business cards, flyers, invites and gift vouchers.

We also put together designs for posters to put into the old premises to inform passersby of the move, and to go into the new premises to inform passers by of the new shop, and finally we developed signage for the new shop front and new swing tags for products.
